So. You're staring at this thread, on our forums. You've got a microphone that doesn't sound like a World War II artifact, a fully-functional and English-capable larynx, and some free time to boot.
Why don't you apply to be a voice actor for our mod, you silly bear?! It doesn't take years of acting school or any drama classes to be decent voice talent for our mod. We have a need for anything and everything, and aren't gender-specific. We have many roles to fill, though nothing has been concretely assigned yet. Now is the time to apply, send in a simple audio sample, and have yourself evaluated for what you could potentially star as. A quick and important note though. It is known that the Dark Brotherhood attracts peoples of all ages and lifestyles, but for Sithis' sake, you must have a post-pubescent voice and be able to speak clear and concise English. That means no thick accents (save for certain varieties of British, New Zealander, Australian, and South African). IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO APPLY, please post a simple reply here on this thread with your email address. IF YOU DO APPLY, be prepared to turn in a quick audio sample. Use the program Audacity (located at: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) to record yourself after you are given a script to recite. Regularly logging onto our Ventrilo server is also highly recommended, for purposes of further evaluation, critique, and advice. With all that being said, thank you for your time spent reading this. 1st: why did you open another topic about this?
2nd: i applyed ont ther other topic and i recieved the email and i sent my samples (3 - normal, irish accent, whisper) and did not (yet, i hope) get a response. 3nd: do i have to send them again? 4th: what happened to the others i sent? 5th: i still wanna join for voice acting

I created this topic just to emphasize our need of a large number and large variety of people to voice for the mod. So if you think anyone you know has the voice for the job, refer them here! We'll consider anyone who meets the requirements mentioned above. |
