Sorry for my bad english jeje

I downloaded both versions of the mod, but the game freezes very often after play for 20 minutes during the battles. Can you help me to correct this problem?

I like the mod and the anime, but is imposible to play the game with this problem. Please, help me.

This is partly due to the modded game asking for more than 2 gigs of Ram which is hardcoded in to the game. But wasn't the last version playable? I didn't give it a big playthrough myself as I had updated entrenchment. Check the moddb site as it gets updated with the new releases first.

These are the specs of my computer:
3 GB Ram, intel quad core 2.4 GHz Q600 with four cores working. The Video Card is a nvidia 9600.

I have the latest version of entrenchmen 1.051, and I downloaded version 1.1 and 1.11 of this mod in MODDB page and the game is still freezing.

What can i do to play this mod?

The game is a 32 bit game, games written to run on a 32 bit processor can only access 2 Gigs of ram the second they reach two gigs they crash.

The mod stacks a lot of buffs which add up and take up space as you increase your fleet size, you increase the amount of petential abilities being used. One way would be to reduce the amount of time buffs are activated for, give them a cooldown time and make them have to be activated by player may help.

Or wait till the sins optimization mod comes along.

I haven't tried it myself, but you *could* try loading the mod above the Sins Optimization Project. I took a bunch of stuff from it and integrated it directly into a test build. I couldn't tell any difference but the memory usage stayed below 1.2 gigabytes.

The mod mostly adds stuff - it doesn't actually edit original files, except for certain mandatory data files that tell the game what to load, so it should be compatible.

i dont get the whole 2 gig freeze. mine never goes past 1.2 gigs and still freezes. i have 4 gigs available though running 64bit windows. i tried that 4 gig patcher that was linked in the comments on the moddb page but the memory usage didnt change, still freezes.

Then it's most likely an effects problem - too many sound-graphics effects being thrown up on screen and slowing everything down. I made some tweaks in the last revision, but it's part of of an expansion that takes full advantage of Entrenchment (something I now am very wary about - if too many ships and laser beams slows down the game, what's thousands of mines with buffs attached going to do?) The upshot is that I'll need to seperate it from the latter, and then I won't be able to test it, because my testing PC is currently inactive. I think I can put together such a patch fairly quickly, but there's no guarantee the thing will run. If it doesn't, I'll need feedback from the Developer.exe to figure out what went wrong.
