Then it's most likely an effects problem - too many sound-graphics effects being thrown up on screen and slowing everything down. I made some tweaks in the last revision, but it's part of of an expansion that takes full advantage of Entrenchment (something I now am very wary about - if too many ships and laser beams slows down the game, what's thousands of mines with buffs attached going to do?) The upshot is that I'll need to seperate it from the latter, and then I won't be able to test it, because my testing PC is currently inactive. I think I can put together such a patch fairly quickly, but there's no guarantee the thing will run. If it doesn't, I'll need feedback from the Developer.exe to figure out what went wrong.
